About The Vail Luxury Team

With over 60 years of combined experience in Vail real estate, The Vail Luxury Team of Heather McInerny and George Lamb has developed an intimate knowledge of the Vail market. George and Heather bring unique skills and strengths to the team and successfully guide clients through the process of purchasing and selling homes, providing invaluable guidance and direction along the way.

GEORGE LAMB

BACKGROUND:
A native of New England, George permanently moved to Vail in 1974. As a full-time landscape painter, he founded and chaired the art department of the Vail Mountain School. He joined Rod Slifer at Slifer and Company on Bridge Street in the spring of 1979 and has remained a full-time broker ever since, with a good overall knowledge of the general real estate market and a specialization of the upper Vail Valley.

Crummer School of International Business and Finance (MBA program) - Winter Park, FL

COMMUNITY SERVICE:
George has served on a number of boards and committees, including the Vail Design Review Board (Chairman), Planning and Environmental Commission, Art in Public Place and director of Holy Cross Energy, the electric utility company serving the Vail and Aspen areas.

PERSONAL:
George is married and lives in Vail with his wife Lizette. They have two sons who both graduated from the Vail Mountain School. Colin is a Doctor at Portland Maine as a child psychiatrist having graduated from Bowdoin College and George Washington Medical School. Their younger son, Carder graduated from the University of San Diego Johnson and Wales MBA program. He is currently the Financial Director for East West Partners in Park City, Deer Valley in Utah.

HEATHER MCINERNY

Heather's goal is to offer a positive and successful real estate experience to her clients. By focusing on details and consistent follow up, Heather ensures that each client will feel confident and well informed in their purchase or sale.

BACKGROUND:
Born in Chicago and raised in Washington, DC, Heather moved to Vail in 1991 after attending the University of Colorado at Boulder. After annual visits to Vail throughout her childhood, it was a thrill to finally call Vail home. Before joining the Slifer team in 2004, she worked for the Vail Ski Patrol for 9 years.

University of Colorado at Boulder- BA in French Business

COMMUNITY SERVICE:
Heather is active in the community and has taken the lead in getting Slifer Smith and Frampton Actively Green through the Walking Mountains Science Center's program. Through education and awareness, she believes the company will make an impact and inspire others through waste reduction and energy conservation.

PERSONAL:
In her free time, Heather can be found mountain biking, hiking and skiing on the local trails and slopes and kiteboarding when by the sea. She lives in Singletree with her husband and occasionally their two college aged children.
