Without Heather, we would not purchased a home. The Cordillera area buying environment is a very difficult to navigate. The is no real inventory available and it's been this way since COVID. Heather and I looked at many homes, bid on several, and had a couple of transactions fall apart for various reasons. Throughout the process, Heather was even-keeled, positive, and kept us moving in a forward direction. Ultimately, through her hard work and determination, she found a home that we were able to purchase - at a reasonable price and with reasonable terms. He knew we weren't in an immediate need or were looking to buy a $20M vacation home. Regardless, he had since interest and offered to help in way even if was a ways out. He provide us with great information, and was not high pressure. About 3 months later, we did actually purchase and close on a lot in Eagle Ranch for our future build. George was very thorough and kept us up-to-date during the entire process. Even though it was just a lot, George treated us as if we were buying that $20M property. We had an exceptional home buying experience with Heather McInerny and SSF. I can’t say enough positive things about Heather! She is so professional and knows the Vail Valley like the back of her hand. She took time to understand what was important to us and showed us properties accordingly. We are out of state buyers so Heather scheduled home viewings around our schedule of when we’d be in town and able to see as many homes as possible in a short period of time. There were 3 homes that made our list and Heather followed up with each of the other brokers with specific questions we had about each house. When we narrowed it down to one home and were ready to put in an offer, Heather went back to the house and FaceTimed with us back in CA and gave us another thorough look/tour of the home. This was so important and helpful as we had only seen the house once.
